Business Development Manager

Facilitate the growth of the business for which he or she works. Working primarily with the sales and marketing departments which experienced professional develops training plans to educate and motivate the employees of the company to perform at their most profitable level.

Strategic planning for future development is a key part of this job description since it is the business manager's responsibility to develop the pipeline of new business coming into the company.

It also requires a thorough knowledge on marketplace and company's competitors.

Tasks of Business Development Manager:

  • Writing proposals and specifications
  • Conducting roadshows
  • Competitive analysis based on existence management software used by clubs
  • Contract review with potential new clients
  • Collaboration with the marketing department
  • Work with the Golfreserv team to prospect, consult and close golf courses/resorts on compelling offers for Golfreserv’s suite of technology products
  • Identify new and creative business opportunities to expand the range of offerings for our Golfreserv customers
  • Facilitate regional market strategy summits across the business to ensure optimal asset utilization and revenue focus

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • 3 years working experience
  • Persistent and creative sales approach
  • Knowledge of golf and tee times distribution preferred, previous experience with golf marketing/technology products strongly desired
  • Passionate about performance marketing
  • Strong presenter and negotiator
  • Excellent written skills
  • Organized with good attention to details
  • Self-starter who can spot new opportunities
  • Able to work as part of wide and varied team
  • Able to travel (Minimum 4 days)

Business Development Executive

Tasks of Business Development Executive:

  • Work with and expand current prospect database of golf flights booking to generate effective leads & exceed sales targets for the business
  • Develop a sales contact plan direct marketing, and attending events to build relationships with key prospects
  • Respond to incoming Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs) in a professional and creative manner
  • Understand a prospect’s business needs and work with the expert teams to develop a tailored digital marketing proposal
  • Work closely with colleagues in Golfreserv to identify common new prospects and cross-sell integrated search
  • Represent Golfreserv events, including round tables, speaking forums and new business events
  • Work closely with Marketing to identify appropriate go to market messaging for specific business sectors

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • One year sales & marketing experience
  • Tech-savvy with ability to communicate technical product features effectively
  • Knowledge of golf and tee times distribution preferred, previous experience with golf marketing/technology products strongly desired

Sales Person

Work directly with clients and/or prospects to sell and implement technology product opportunities across the region accompanying the core online tee time business. This position will also be responsible for supporting the overall performance of Golfreserv.com. This position will be expected to be the expert on the golf economy, which includes detailed knowledge of the golf courses, golf course technology products/solutions, market leaders, decision makers, macroeconomic issues and key competitors.

Responsibilities:

  • Effectively presenting Golfreserv to potential and existing clients
  • Providing an excellent level of service to meet course needs
  • Engaging prospect courses for future distribution partnerships
  • Managing and fostering relationships with courses through daily interaction
  • Collaborating with regional teams to maximize key performance metrics including Number of Golf Course Clients & Overall Penetration, Course Tool Set Utilization, Tee Time Utilization rates, Local Customer (golfers) levels
  • Educating and advising courses on the local golf community
  • Providing market reports and activity detail to executive leadership
  • Project and inventory management
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Diploma or fresh graduates
  • Computer/Internet expertise required
  • 1 year of sales experience
  • Extensive (local) travel required
  • Background in golf industry a plus
  • Sales development and/or strategy experience a plus
  • Online distribution experience a plus
  • Salesforce experience a plus
